How the process works
1. Free design consultation. We start either at our West Bridgford showroom or with a home visit, measuring your space and talking through how you use it day to day — not just what it should look like.
2. 3D design and visualisation. We produce a detailed 3D visual of your kitchen so you can see exactly how it will look before committing to anything. We refine it with you until the layout, storage and finishes are right.
3. Material and finish selection. From cabinetry construction to worktops, handles, lighting and flooring, we help you choose a coherent set of finishes rather than a list of separate decisions.
4. Installation and project management. Our team handles the full project — including plumbing, electrics, plastering and tiling — so you have one point of contact from first sketch to final fit, rather than managing multiple trades yourself.
Materials and cabinetry
Design Time works with premium British and European cabinet manufacturers, including Burbidge for rigid, made-to-measure cabinetry that’s built to your room’s exact dimensions rather than a standard grid. Whether you want handleless contemporary units, shaker-style cabinets for a period property, or painted timber for a warmer, traditional look, your bespoke kitchen is planned around the finish you want — not the other way around.
Worktop, tile and flooring options are selected to work together as one design, drawing on the same supplier range you’ll see across our showroom, including Silestone worktops and Karndean and specialist flooring.
