Classic Kitchens
Classic Design Kitchens in Nottingham
At Design Time Kitchens in Nottingham, we understand, that whilst super-contemporary designs are the choice for some, they certainly aren’t for others. Many of our customers look for a more traditional design, often found within our Classic collection of Burbidge Crafted Designs. As with all our ranges, Design Time Kitchens Nottingham supply only the best quality kitchens. Our bespoke rigid carcasses are absolutely top quality, providing you with peace of mind that your kitchen will stand the test of time. Our component kitchens although fully bespoke are actually more cost effective when compared to some manufactures ‘complete’ kitchens.
Our classically designed bespoke kitchens take inspiration from the 18th and 19th centuries, combining natural woods and stone to create a stunning space for entertaining, while maintaining the symmetry and grandeur synonymous with traditional design.
We take great pride in offering the latest technological innovations from leading brands such as Siemens and Bosch. However, we recognise that a kitchen is about more than functionality alone; it is a space where style and aesthetics are equally important. That is why we ensure every appliance integrates seamlessly with the overall design and atmosphere of the room.
To achieve this harmony, we pay close attention to the finishes we specify. Our expert designers carefully select materials such as brass, nickel and bronze. These finishes not only add elegance and sophistication, but also complement the wider design scheme beautifully. With their timeless appeal, they help bring the entire space together, creating a cohesive and visually balanced environment.
By incorporating these materials, we strike the perfect balance between contemporary innovation and classic design. The warm tones and subtle lustre of brass, nickel and bronze introduce a sense of luxury and refinement, enhancing the kitchen’s overall aesthetic. Whether your preference is for a sleek contemporary space or a more traditional setting, these finishes offer the versatility to elevate any style.
Beyond their visual appeal, these materials are also chosen for their durability. Brass, nickel and bronze are resilient and designed to stand the test of time, ensuring your kitchen remains both stylish and practical for years to come. Resistant to tarnishing, corrosion and everyday wear, they are particularly well suited to high-use areas such as the kitchen.
In addition, incorporating panelled cabinetry can further enhance a classical aesthetic, while layered lighting and statement light fittings add depth and a sense of grandeur to a traditional scheme.
